Şehzade Sultan

Şehzade Sultan (, ca. 1500 - 10 July 1538, other names ''Hanım, Hatun, Sultanzade, Şehzade'') was an Ottoman princess, the daughter of Ottoman Sultan Selim I (reign 1512-20).
==Biography==
The contemporary chronicles do not give the name of Şehzade Sultan's mother. She was the half sister of Suleiman the Magnificent (reign 1520-66) and the aunt of Sultan Selim II (reign 1566-74). At the age of about sixteen, in 1516, Hafsa was married to Çoban Mustafa Pasha Governor of Egypt Eyalet (1522-1523), son of Iskender Pasha, sometime Governor of Bosnia Eyalet and Rumelia Eyalet.
Mustafa Pasha died in 1529 on the way to the Siege of Vienna, and Hafsa became widow by his death. After Mustafa's death she never married again. She died in 1538. The sultans Bayezid II (reign 1481-1512), Selim I (reign 1512-1520) and Suleiman the Magnificent (1520-1566), grandfather, father and half brother respectively, endowed the family with vast mülks transformed into waqfs.
